We were told that many Manileños go to Tagaytay to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of the capital. So we took the suggestion into consideration and head our way to Cavite after checking out at Summit Hotel Magnolia. But before taking on the trip, we stopped by for lunch at Chef Tito where we had a sumptuous and filling lunch. The restaurant in Sucat Parañaque gives out a warm Christmas country vibe with the wreath ornaments and pine leaves accents around its charming dining area. And the food? All were nothing but toothsome. <3
After a very delicious early midday meal, it took us about 70 minutes to reach Summit Ridge Tagaytay from Summit Hotel Magnolia. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with refreshments and servings of fresh fruits while we were completing the check-in process. Settling in at my assigned room, I glimpsed at the window and rushed to the balcony to appreciate the stunning view of Taal Lake. Breathtaking, right? And guess what, all guests of Summit Ridge Tagaytay‘s 108 rooms get to be treated with this awesome view from their respective porches.
Rooms at Summit Ridge Tagaytay has a classic and regal touch to it, which is distinctly different from the stylish contemporary vibe of Summit Hotel Magnolia. The property also includes spa and fitness facilities, a swimming pool, badminton and basketball courts! With the unparalleled amenities and that stunning view of Taal, Summit Ridge Tagaytay is for sure the place to stay when in Tagaytay.
This trip is all about taking a chill pill, a breather from work and to get the much needed stress out of our systems. And with that is an itinerary which includes being “One with Nature.” We dropped by Nurture Wellness Village Tagaytay for a farm tour where we got the chance to learn more about herbs and its medicinal properties and tried our best to “bayo and tahip” rice. We also met up with the moody (as per her caretaker) Maria the Carabao, who was really friendly during our visit by the way. ^_^
And before retiring to bed, an hour of The Ridge Spa signature massage to cap the night. The most perfect way to ease off and repose. Ahhh!
Waking up to a smooth morning, we had an early check out to catch our afternoon flight back to Cebu from NAIA Terminal 3 via Cebu Pacific Air. But before that – BREAKFAST! We had it at Bag of Beans Tagaytay where I ordered the “Full American Breakfast” which literally serves two people. Buurp! haha.
And guys, Bag of Beans is soooo instagrammable, taking photos for your ig feed goal is a breeze with its different themed areas.
It was truly a relaxing break and Summit Ridge Tagaytay made the vacation very comfortable, and legitimately a restful visit. ‘Til my next jaunt to Cavite!
