Now, with several airlines flying direct from Mactan Cebu International Airport to Japan, it’s more accessible and convenient for us Cebuanos to travel to the Land of the Rising Sun. To name one, Cebu Pacific flies between Narita and Cebu four times a week! But before flying there, one is required to secure an entry visa.
Applying for a Japan tourist entry permit is pretty easy and there are several accredited agencies that accept Japan visa applications in Metro Cebu. Before heading to one though, make sure that you have compiled the required documents to save you time and the trouble of going back and forth.

2. Submit requirements to an accredited agency
I have secured a Japan Visa at Friendship Tours and Resort Corp twice already and I love how friendly the staff were and how fast the processing was. I applied for a single entry last year (March 2015) and was granted 15-day single entry, which I exhausted during my first jaunt to Japan: a 15-day spring trip to 6 prefectures. And just recently was luckily granted multiple entry (even I was only requesting for single entry) when I appealed for a quick visit to Universal Studios Japan for their anniversary.
The agency’s Single-entry Visa Application charge is only PhP1,200.
Here’s the agency’s details:
